Aeon Lighting Technology

Aeon Lighting Technology (ALT) was formed in 2007 by Supermicro, Compuware, and Ablecom, all recognized leaders in the computer server industry. Its roots in an industry that places a heavy premium on minimizing power consumption and maximizing heat dissipation have served ALT well, and its focus on these factors has produced an impressive array of products recognized internationally for their reliability, longevity, and light quality.  No more clearly is this evident than in ALT’s MR16 lamp.  Available in six Aeon-Lighting-Technology-Inc-versions to replace 20W to 60W halogens, ALT’s MR16 offers power consumption savings of up to 85 percent over an equivalent halogen lamp, and a useful life ten times that of its halogen counterpart.  These features reflect ALT’s use of only top tier component suppliers, including Cree, Epistar, and Bridgelux, and its attention to design detail, as evidenced by its patented heat sink made of high-density aluminum.  ALT’s MR16 received the coveted reddot design award in 2011.  ALT’s products are LM-79 tested.  They are also UL, ETL, CSA & Energy Star certified & DLC listed for LDC incentives.
